Off of 460, take Candlers Mountain Road and go past the Wingate Hotel and it will be the first turn on the right. Look for banner. Or use google maps and use 37.341059,-79.176536 as the destination. We are getting the road named shortly, and are working on additional signage on Candlers Mountain Rd.

3 & 5 Man Woodsball Tourny-Big Pearl Paintball
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a revolutionary idea that we came up with and we're open to input. The game concept is this. 3 & 5 man teams compete together and against each other to earn points. Team with the most points at the end of the day wins.
How does it work? Example Objective: One 5 man team defends a flag for 15 minutes again a 5 & 3 man team working together to capture the flag.
Teams will also compete heads up in games such as center flag.
There will be boundaries in order to allow for multiple games at the same time.
Points are awarded based on objectives completed and surviving team members, and dificulty of objective. For example if two 5-man teams take on one 5-man team the potential points for the single 5-man team will be higher then either attacking team.
Each mission match up will be drawn at random. Team(s) _________ will play team(s) __________, mission objective ___________
Championship round(s) will be games of center flag.
There will be prizes and trophies for the winning 5-Man and 3-Man teams. Prizes will depend on how many teams show up and who we can get to sponsor the tournament.
Uncapped semi, no ramping, no coaching, dead players don't talk.
Delete Comment For the championship rounds the team with the most points selects side.
Our refs are going to be instucted not to call players out unless it's an unobvious hit. WHY? Your expected to call yourself out. If you don't you'll be pulled for a one for one. Anything other then a pod hit will most likly be considered an obvious hit. If you can't see if it broke then call for a "paint check".
From the feedback I got from the LU tourny's I am going to make it my personal mission to catch people cheating or playing on. If your team is called for playing through please understand that we're not saying you cheated. We are saying that the consequece for playing on is a 1 for 1. If that's never inforced then it encourages people to play on. Lets be honest how many people really don't "feel it".
If your caught whipping paint your team is pulled and no points are awarded. Additionally you'll most likely be done for the day, but that will be a judgement call depending on how blatant the cheating was.
We hope you'll attend and have a great time. __________________

Dates August 15th September 19th
3-man & 5-man woodsball tournament at our Glasgow, VA field. $75 for a 3-man team, $125 for a 5-man team. Small prizes and trophies will be awarded at the end for winning teams.
Winner will be determined through a series of random missions. Teams may be paired together with other teams or against multiple teams. Pairing will be determined by rolling of dice.
Points for missions will be weighted based on difficulty and time alotment. Missions will include attack/defend, center flag, find the dummy, escort the general, shot the bucket and other game types. Each team will have the ability to score at least 100 points per mission.
Each team should expect to play at least 5 missions. Top scoring teams, based on average number of points per mission, will play in a playoff round of center flag at the end of the day. Championship round is best of three.
This is the first of a five part series. At the end of the series we'll order one large team trophy for each of the top teams for the overall standings over the life of the tournaments. So in other words, in order for you to win the overall trophy you'll need to come to most or all othe tournaments.
Any questions, please call Jeremiah Keeler @ 434-258-1200
